A step by step guide to Simplicity Cremations

It’s a smooth and simple process to arrange a simple funeral through us.

1

STEP ONE

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SERVICE

Browse through our services page to help you decide which type of funeral is right for you. Our packages are based on the number of people you'd like to attend the cremation.

We offer unattended funerals (sometimes known as direct cremations) and family-led funerals with packages to suit the number of attendees.

If you're not sure then please call us and one of our advisors will be happy to help you.

STEP FIVE

THE CREMATION

Your loved one will be taken by our funeral personnel to the crematorium. The coffin will be placed in the chapel.

In the case of an intimate or full attended funeral, you and your family will be welcomed into the chapel to witness the committal. While there will be no formal service, it is at the families discretion to organise any proceedings themselves, whether they wish to invite a celebrant or minister or just say a few words themselves.

STEP SIX

THE ASHES

After an unattended funeral has taken place, the ashes will be scattered in the garden of remembrance at the crematorium. Should you wish, we can arrange for our funeral staff to collect them and they will then contact you to arrange their safe return to you within 6 weeks.

Following an attended funeral, the ashes will be returned to you in a simple container.

If you are not sure what you wish to do at this point, we can arrange for a member of our team to talk you through your options.
