Our Charges

SIMPLE DIRECT CREMATION £550
plus disbursements of crematorium and *doctors certification fees

Where, either from personal choice or financial preference, a secular or religious service for mourners to attend is not desired or is inappropriate, we are able to offer the following dignified service. This includes collection of the deceased from a hospital or mortuary, provision of a quality, simple coffin, and direct transfer to a crematorium.

• Provision of an experienced funeral director's services
  
• Assistance and advice on registration
  
• Provision of a simple coffin suitable for the purpose of cremation
  
• Transfer of the Deceased from a hospital or mortuary in normal working hours
  
• Care of the Deceased
  
• Direct transfer to a crematorium of our choice for private cremation
  
• Disposal of the ashes by strewing
  
• Provision of a certificate of cremation

This arrangement specifically excludes collection of the deceased from domestic premises, embalming, viewing of the deceased or any funeral procession or service prior to cremation.

DIRECT CREMATION PLUS £650
plus disbursements of crematorium and *doctors certification fees

All the above, plus return of the ashes in a solid wooden casket, complete with engraved nameplate and cremation certificate.

In all cases, please add to our basic charges:
Crematorium fees and related disbursements / gratuities of circa £450.00

Medical certification fees:
*(unless issued without charge by HM Coroner) £147.00

Removal of Pacemaker or other prosthetic device: (where appropriate) £75.00

An additional charge may be levied for service
outside our usual geographic areas.
All charges, and disbursements / fees must be paid prior to the cremation

Service currently available throughout Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, North Wales.... and all other UK mainland areas at modest additional cost.

Where bariatric (obese) factors are present, causing additional or unusual requirements,
we reserve the right to either decline or withdraw our services at any time, and/or make additional charges where these become necessary.
